Stunning. Inspiring. I'm so in love. Have you seen Dana Tanamachi's latest project, Flourish? Done in collaboration with Andrew Ryan Shepherd. Check it out here. I am swooning.

The print I ordered from Fifty-Five Hi's arrived the other day. Love the packaging. The print was wrapped in the gorgeous paper above.

In honor of Spring. The sun is shining. My poppies and lupine are sprouting!
I came across this installation, Falling Garden, by Gerda Steiner and Jörg Lenzlinger on the Jealous Curator. It took my breath away!
One of the many joys of having a little one is rediscovering the things you enjoyed as a child. My daughter has recently been enjoying Madeline written and illustrated by Ludwig Bemelmans. This was one of my favorite books growing up and I am falling in love with it all over again. As an adult, I am becoming a huge fan of Bemelmans art. I have been doing some research to find out more about him, and I stumbled upon images from Bemelmans Bar. It is located in The Carlysle in NYC. Bemelmans himself painted the murals on the wall in exchange for an 18 month stay in the hotel. This is definitely on my "must see" list for the next time I go to New York.

Came across this album cover today and fell in love. (It doesn't hurt that it is for one of my favorite musicians, Thelonious Monk.) It was designed by Reid Miles with Andy Warhol. Warhol’s mother supplied the hand-written script. Amazing.
