Taking a pause from the blog.

Thank you!
Where I've Been.
My last post on this blog was ushering in 2014. It is now March of 2015. I was 5 months pregnant when I last posted and eagerly planning and wrapping up work for my maternity leave. Our family welcomed a beautiful, happy, healthy baby boy in May.
Due to many different circumstances, my leave was unexpectedly extended. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to spend this time with my family, but now it is time to get back to work. I have had incredible support during this time from my amazing husband, family, friends, colleagues and clients. I am so thankful. It is exciting to start this new chapter for Kate Cunningham Design. I can't wait to share my new projects and plans, so stay tuned!
The Mister out does himself on the grill again. Grilled pizza. Yum!

The snow keeps coming. We are really enjoying it!

Lady Gus Gus enjoying the tulips.
Booli's room (along with our house) is a HUGE work in progress. I am always excited when I can find the time to work on it. We made this fun butterfly display box the other day. My girl loves it! We used some of Booli's old watercolor art and this butterfly template from elinee. I then hot glued the butterflies into this shadow box frame from IKEA.

Todd Farm score!
I picked up this adorable little table at Todd Farm a couple weeks ago. It will be going in Booli's big girl room.
Not sure if I'm going to paint it or not . . .

My talented sister-in-law knit this gorgeous seed stitch blanket for Booli.

The hills across the street looking amazing in the evening light.
Looking at the snow covered hills across the street and enjoying an incredible sky.

At the hardware store today selecting color samples for Booli's room.

Thank you Santa!
Excited about the new books I received over the holidays.

Our house is a very very slow work in progress. We are trying to work on each room, one at a time. Booli is starting to outgrow her crib and will be moving into her big girl room soon. Here is the inspiration board I put together for her room. We hope to get started on it after the holidays.
